Battery Automatic Film Covering and Collecting Machine

The Battery Automatic Sleeving and Packaging Integrated Machine, developed by Zhuote, is designed for single batteries to perform the processes of applying heat-shrinkable sleeves with insulating pads, heat shrinking, and collecting/packaging into boxes.

Single batteries are manually loaded as entire trays. A conveying mechanism automatically feeds the trays into the system, while a lifting mechanism controls the vertical movement of the magazine. A pick-and-place device automatically unloads batteries in complete rows for discharge. A pushing device then automatically transfers the batteries into positioning magnetic bases on the conveyor chain.

The conveyor chain automatically transports the batteries sequentially to the sleeving station, face pad application station, and automatic heat shrinking oven. The oven features two-stage constant temperature control: the first section at the inlet serves as a preheating zone, and the second section is the main heating zone. After processing, batteries are automatically discharged to the collection machine.

A feeding mechanism automatically conveys and positions the batteries. The system automatically tests the open-circuit voltage and load voltage of each battery. A CCD vision system automatically inspects the shrinkage quality of the sleeve on both positive and negative terminals, detects the concave point at the negative bottom, and identifies faulty face pad placement. Defective products are automatically rejected.

Qualified batteries are automatically boxed. A stepper motor drives the lifting mechanism to complete the automatic boxing and positioning process. Once a box is full, it is automatically ejected for manual collection.
